During Q1FY20, the company had secured new orders worth Rs. 185 crores for engineering products from projects related to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), State Electricity Boards and others. The order book of Skipper, as on June 30, 2019, stood at Rs. 2363 crores which comprises of Exports-17 per cent and Domestic- 83 per cent.

The company received USFDA approval for Ethacrynic Acid Tablets USP, 25 mg, from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). Lupin’s Ethacrynic Acid Tablets USP, 25 mg, is the generic version of Edecrin Tablets, 25 mg, of Bausch Health Americas, Inc.

The above mentioned work of contract shall resume by September 12, 2019. The total contract value of the same stood at Rs. 382.22 crore, out of which contract worth Rs. 213.24 was already completed. Value of the remaining work balance stood at Rs. 168.98 crore.

L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS) is selected by a European automotive manufacturer for its electric Powertrain (ePowertrain) practice. The company is responsible for the functional qualification of the ePowertrain ECUs (Electronics Control Unit).

The stock of Somany Ceramics on Monday was locked in lower circuit of Rs. 228.80 apiece, down by nearly 20 per cent from its previous close. The reason for this fall is bounce of cheque amounting to Rs. 26.2 crore issued in favour of Somany Ceramics by stockbroker Mentor Financial Services Private Limited.
