Overall volumes in futures & options currently stand at 1,56,71,937 contracts with a turnover of Rs.10,63,981.45 crore.

We believe holding above the Monday’s session low of 11,300 could mean a possibility of an upside bounce in the index. On the downside, if the index slips and sustains below the 11,300 mark, it would lead to an extension of the correction towards the 11,220 mark. The outlook for the day is a flat to positive start on the back of cheerful cues from the Asian peers. At the time of writing, the SGX Nifty was up by 14 points at 11,353.

Out of last nine trading session, FIIs remained net seller in all of those sessions. The major indices are down  by more than 4 per cent. Read on to find if FIIs selling is related to such fall.
