Bajaj Holdings & Investment has acquired a 27 per cent stake in Maharashtra Scooters (MSL). Shares of Bajaj Holding rose almost 3 per cent intraday reacting to the announcement made before market hours.

Lenders' consortium led by the State Bank of India (SBI) has filed an insolvency plea against the now non-functional airline Jet Airways with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). Reacting to this development, the stock of Jet Airways tumbles close to 50 per cent.

The Board of Directors of Tech Mahindra have approved the proposal to acquire 100 per cent shareholding of Objectwise Consulting Group Inc. The information technology (IT) firm will pay 2.75 million Canadian dollars (approximately Rs. 14.33 crore) for the company.
