Wipro announced that the company has partnered with enterprise blockchain software firm R3 and has developed a blockchain-based solution prototype to enable digital currency for inter-bank settlements for a consortium consisting of the Bank of Thailand and eight commercial banks in Thailand.

The stocks that are likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on May 8 are Lupin, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, JK Paper and Jyothy Laboratories.

Market held its fort until lunch hours on Tuesday but could not sustain and started slipping in the afternoon session and tanked more than 300 points in the last half an hour of trade. Rise of crude oil prices in the international market led to negative sentiments hit the stocks of oil retailers led by Reliance.

The company's consolidated revenue for Q4FY19 came in at Rs. 434.98 crore as against Rs. 362.56 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a 20 per cent YoY increase.
