The markets on March 1, 2019 opened gap up. BSE Sensex is closed at 36,063.81, up by 196.37 points and the Nifty is closed at 10,863.50, up by 71.00 points. 

The shares of SBI Life Insurance Company experienced substantial volatility during Friday’s trading session as they rebounded 6.5 per cent after initially plunging 12 per cent upon news of a block deal.

NCC Limited has bagged five new orders worth Rs. 4,088 crore in the month of February 2019. Of these, orders worth Rs. 738 crore pertains to the Building division. While remaining orders worth Rs. 3,350 crore pertain to Water division. These orders are received from state government agencies and do not include any internal orders.
