The Indian markets zoomed up on Monday on the back of global cues. The BSE Sensex and Nifty50 up 341 and 88 points, respectively in the last trading session of the day.

Through this project, GE T&D will help evacuate around 2500 MW of wind power generated in Gujarat. After execution of this project, various wind farm developers will be able to transmit the power generated in the state to the Green Energy Power Transmission Corridor.

The plant will have a capacity of 90 KLPD and the cost for the project is around Rs. 120 crore. The company expects to start production from this plant in the next season. The main purpose of the venture is to increase value addition and reduce the volatility in its sugar business.
