Finally, the lenders of Binani Cement voted for UltraTech Cement’s Rs. 7,950 crore bid, which is nearly Rs. 1,000 crore higher than that of Dalmia Bharat Group.

In a blow to metals and mining company Vedanta, according to reports, the deputy chief minister of Tamil Nadu O Panneerselvam has asserted that the government will order permanent shut down of the company’s Sterlite copper plant.
