Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.11 per cent at 83,697 and the Nifty-50 up 0.10 per cent at 25,542. About 2,026 shares have advanced, 1,982 shares have declined and 156 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.07 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.18 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were IDFC First Bank Ltd, Laurus Labs Ltd and Bharti Hexacom Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Gabriel India Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Ltd and Filatex India Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Power Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.
As of July 01, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 461 lakh crore or USD 5.39 trillion. On the same day, 168 stocks hit a 52-week high while 46 stocks touched a 52-week low.
