Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on May 07
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 1.90 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 1.06 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading mixed on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.52 per cent at 73,512, and the Nifty-50 down 0.62 per cent at 22,302. About 1,084 shares have advanced, 2,738 have declined and 110 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,794.70 on May 03, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.90 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.06 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd, CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd and Vedant Fashions Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Infobeans Technologies Ltd, SMS Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Deep Industries Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index and BSE Information Technology Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 398 lakh crore or USD 4.80 trillion as of May 07, 2024. On the same day, 179 stocks hit a 52-week high while 36 stocks touched a 52-week low.
