The domestic market rallied for the third consecutive week, thanks to the cooling inflation and positive global cues. The local inflation in March slipped into the RBI comfort zone of 2-6 per cent and Retail CPI dropped to 15-month low. Moreover, except for the IT stocks, all other sectors and index heavyweight stocks witnessed strong buying interest. With this, the Nifty 50 index jumped 1.30 per cent to trade at 17,800 levels.
