Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on February 28!

The NSE Nifty 50 index closed at the 17,400 level, slipping 0.42 per cent, while the S&P BSE Sensex lost 175 points

The session in the stock market was characterized by strong volatility, with indices closing on a weaker note despite fresh buying interest in real estate stocks. The weakness in metal and IT was offset by the strong performance of Nifty Realty, which saw a jump of over 2 per cent. The NSE Nifty 50 index closed at the 17,400 level, slipping 0.42 per cent, while the S&P BSE Sensex lost 175 points. The Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap also experienced a decline of 0.69 per cent and 1.12 per cent, respectively.

Tata Consultancy Services: The company informed the exchange that it has been recognised as a leader in Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix for procurement outsourcing.  

Route Mobile: The company has launched TruSense, a digital identity and security suite that is critical to securing digital transactions through a reliable ecosystem, enabling businesses to authenticate the end user in a frictionless way. 

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: The company announced an agreement to acquire Mayne Pharma’s US generic prescription product portfolio. The portfolio includes approximately 45 commercial products, four pipeline products and 40 approved non-marketed products, including a number of generic products focused on women’s health.
