Penny stock below Rs 5 hit lower circuit: Board Allots 48.16 crore shares under rights issue; Paid-up capital increased to Rs 64.22 crore

The stock is up over 80 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 1.12 per share.

Growington Ventures India Ltd recently completed its Rights Issue, allotting 48,16,61,820 new equity shares at a price of Re 1 per share. This significant move, approved by the Board of Directors on June 23, 2025, follows the company's plan to issue these shares to eligible shareholders in a ratio of three new shares for every one existing fully paid-up equity share held as of the record date, April 29, 2025. The total value of this Rights Issue aggregates up to Rs 48,16,61,820.

As a result of this allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of Growington Ventures India Ltd has increased substantially, rising from Rs 16,05,53,940 to Rs 64,22,15,760. These newly allotted fully paid-up equity shares hold the same rights and ranking as the company's existing fully paid-up equity shares, ensuring equal standing for all shareholders.

Growington Ventures India Ltd, established in 2010, initially focused on holiday travel packages before pivoting to the import and export of premium quality fruits. Their extensive fruit portfolio includes a wide variety of options such as apples, oranges, pears, kiwi, dragon fruit, avocados, and various berries. The company also has plans to diversify further by venturing into the trading of spices..

The company has a market cap of Rs 130 crore. Today, shares of Growington Ventures India Ltd hit a 2 per cent lower circuit to Rs 2.02 per share from its previous closing of Rs 2.06 per share. The stock’s 52-week high is Rs 3.46 per share and its 52-week low is Rs 1.12 per share. The stock is up over 80 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 1.12 per share.
