Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of June 16, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 450 lakh crore or USD 5.24 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.84 per cent at 81,796 and the Nifty-50 up 0.92 per cent at 24,947. About 1,976 shares have advanced, 2,108 shares have declined and 169 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.93 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.38 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Supreme Industries Ltd, Indraprastha Gas Ltd and Gland Pharma Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Subros Ltd, Sterlite Technologies Ltd and BIGBLOC Construction Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the red with the BSE IT Index, BSE Consumer Durables Index, BSE Oil & Gas Index, BSE Realty Index, BSE Teck Index, BSE Serices Index and BSE Focused IT Index surging over 1 per cent each.

As of June 16, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 450 lakh crore or USD 5.24 trillion. On the same day, 101 stocks hit a 52-week high while 71 stocks touched a 52-week low.
