The Indian indices closed 2021 on a good note. BSE Sensex closed at 58,253.82 levels, soaring 459 points. Also, Nifty 50 index was seen jumping by over 150 points at the levels of 17,354.05. The top gainers of Nifty 50 index were Hindalco, Titan, UltraTech Cement, Tata Motors, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. The stocks that were seen in red today include NTPC, Cipla, Power Grid Corporation of India, and SBI Life.

HCL acquires a US data analytics product company for Rs 750 crore

HCL America Inc, a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of the company has acquired the balance 19.6 per cent stake in HCL Technologies SEP Holdings Inc, the sole parent entity of the operating company, Actian Corporation.
