Few IT stocks were seen trending and bucking the broader trend in the markets on Wednesday. IT stocks such as Intense Technology, MRO Tek, HCL Info Systems, BCG and Cambridge Technology were seen locked in the upper circuit.  

Despite Nifty index losing nearly 150 points from the day’s high, it did not breach its prior trading low. Moreover, India VIX, a gauge of the market’s expectation of volatility over the near term, dropped nearly 4 per cent, which suggests that there is no fear among the market participants now.  Considering this, the T20 breakout system has hand-picked the following stocks for the coming trading sessions. 

The equity markets are observing a rally by large-cap stocks in the month of August, which is driving the benchmark indices to higher levels, while the broader market is playing in a consolidation zone. After showing an upside breakout of a smaller high low range recently, Nifty showed follow-through upmove amidst volatility on Tuesday and closed the day higher by 51 points. Nifty opened on a slightly weak note and witnessed an upside recovery from the lows in the early part of the session. Minor intraday weakness of mid-part has resulted in a buy on dips opportunity and a late session upmove was seen towards the end.

The shares of Textile companies are seen outperforming on Wednesday. One textile stock that is buzzing on bourses is AYM Syntex. The share price of AYM Syntex has jumped higher by more than 6 per cent in Wednesday, on an intraday basis.   

Several penny stocks were seen outperforming on Tuesday with the top gainers soaring by more than 9 per cent on closing basis. The volumes also were supporting the price rise. 

Several low priced stocks were seen outperforming the markets on Tuesday tradings session even as the frontline indices made their life highs. BSE IT Index, BSE Healthcare Index and BSE FMCG index were seen outperforming on Tuesday. The defensives outperformed while cyclicals such as Metals slipped on the closing basis. 

The share price of Tanfac Industries Ltd was seen trading at life highs on Tuesday trading session even as the frontline indices make fresh all-time highs for themselves. 

The DJIA is down by more than 0.7 per cent, NASDAQ slips by more than 1 per cent while S&P 500 drops by 0.66 per cent on Tuesday, on an intraday basis. The markets may trade with some caution on Wednesday.  

Few of the low-priced stocks saw heavy buying in Tuesday trading session with several low-priced stocks locked in the upper circuit. 

The risk on mood is seen in the market and several penny stocks are seen trading with gains. Some of the penny stocks have crossed the 30D Moving Average in recent trading sessions and are seen trading with optimism. 

Sanofi India share price gained by more than 3.8 per cent on Tuesday trading session. The stock was trading with bullishness even as a Golden Crossover was seen in the August 16, trading session.  

Considering a top-notch performance by Nifty IT, there is no prize for guessing that there are a couple of stocks from Nifty IT appearing in the T20 breakout system. Furthermore, majority of the stocks in the list are seen from the hospital & medical services industry.   

The domestic benchmark indices glowed up in the later hours of Tuesday's trading session. Sensex settled at 55,792.27 level i.e. 0.38 per cent or 209.69 points up and Nifty closed at 16,614.60 level i.e. 0.31 per cent or 51.55 points up on Tuesday. IT stocks were on a lead whereas, the metal stocks turned out to be the biggest losers of the day.

A lot of action was seen in the second half of the trading session while stock-specific action continued with many stocks witnessing a swift move.   In this segment of ours, we have come up with a list of stocks that have seen more than 100 per cent gain in the volume as compared to its prior trading session. Moreover, the stock closing price was greater than its prior trading sessions.

The BSE SmallCap Index closed higher by 0.30 per cent in line with the BSE Sensex which closed higher by 0.38 per cent on Tuesday. Among the sectoral indices, Nifty IT is seen soaring 2.76 per cent while Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Metal tumbled 1.89 per cent & 1.71 per cent, respectively.
