Fairchem posts stellar Q4FY18 results
Fairchem Speciality Limited posted stellar results in Q4FY18. The operational profit of the company more than doubled with strong margin expansion.
The total revenue for the quarter rose by 32 per cent yoy to Rs. 315 crore in Q4FY18 vs Rs. crore in Q4FY17 and Rs. 272 crore in Q3FY18.
The EBITDA for the quarter rose by 168 per cent yoy to Rs. 52 crore in Q4FY18 vs Rs. 19 crore in Q4FY17. The EBITDA margins for the quarter rose by 800 bps to 16.3 per cent in Q4FY18 vs 8 per cent in Q4FY17 and 10.5 per cent Q3FY18.
The bottom-line for the quarter almost tripled to Rs. 27 crore in Q4FY18 vs Rs. 8 crore in previous year's corresponding quarter. While it grew 148 per cent qoq from Rs. 11 crore in Q3FY18.
On full year basis, revenue grew by 63.4 per cent to Rs. 1,039 crore in FY18, while bottom-line grew by 92 per cent yoy to Rs. 53 crore vs Rs. 28 crore in FY17.
Post the results, the stock was trading at Rs. 450 per share, up by 8 per cent at 11:00 hours on Thursday.
