Q2FY19 Results: AIA Engg profit jumps 40 per cent
AIA Engineering reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 during market hours on Wednesday.
The company's consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 740.61 crore as against Rs. 559.15 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 32.5 per cent yoy increase.
The EBITDA for the quarter rose by 31.5 per cent yoy to Rs. 147.8 crore as against Rs. 112.41 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a corresponding margin contraction of 15 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 20 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 121.51 crore as against Rs. 86.64 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, yoy increase of 40 per cent.
AIA Engineering Limited manufactures and markets a range of high chromium consumable wear parts. On Wednesday, the stock of AIA Engineering opened at Rs. 1,626 per share and made an intraday high of Rs. 1,760.10 on the BSE.
