Essel Propack reports PAT rise of 14 per cent for Q3FY19
Essel Propack Limited reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 after market hours on Wednesday. The consolidated numbers were largely stable and in-line with street estimates.
Essel Propack's consolidated revenue for Q3FY19 came in at Rs. 694.43 crore as against Rs. 595.05 crore for the same period last year, registering 16.7 per cent yoy increase. This was primarily driven by volume growth across the geographies around the world with lead taken by East Asia markets.
EBITDA for the quarter rose by 14.8 per cent yoy to Rs. 131.28 crore with a corresponding margin contraction of 31 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 18.9 per cent. The net profit for the quarter came in at Rs. 46.37 crore, which is yoy increase of 13.8 per cent. While the PAT margin during this period stood at 6.77 per cent.
On Wednesday, the stock closed at Rs. 116.70 per share, gaining Rs. 1.80 or 1.57 per cent on BSE. The benchmark index BSE Sensex closed at 36,108.47, down by 0.92 per cent or 336.17 points.
