Surya Roshni illuminates orderbook with Rs. 64 crore order
Surya Roshni has been awarded an order worth Rs. 63.98 crore from Energy Efficiency Services. The shares of the company were volatile in the intraday session on Wednesday.
Surya Roshni will be engaged in the design, engineering, manufacture, assembling, testing, supply, warranty and the replacement of LED bulbs and other related work. The area of work is Odisha and PAN India. The company is expected to complete the project in three months.
The order has been granted by Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) through competitive e-bidding.
Surya Roshni is a manufacturing company with business interests in steel tubes and pipes, lighting, fans and appliances, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes. The company offers Pipes & Tubes, CR Strips and Lighting Products. It operates in two segments: Steel and Lighting.
On Wednesday, the stock of Surya Roshni opened at Rs. 207 per share as against Tuesday’s close of Rs. 206 per share. At closing hours, the shares were trading at Rs. 210 per share, up by 1.57 per cent. The stock's intraday high was Rs. 212.50 and intraday low was at Rs. 207 per share on the BSE.
