Quess Corp reports positive results for Q1FY20
The company's consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 2,394.73 crore as against Rs. 1,968.35 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, recording an appreciation of 21.66 per cent YoY. The increasing revenue during the quarter was led by increased efficiency of workforce management and Tech services.
The EBITDA during the quarter stood at Rs. 147.31 crore as against Rs. 102.46 crore in Q1FY19, showing YoY increase of 43.77 per cent with a corresponding margin expansion of 95 bps. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 6.15 per cent. The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 56.28 crore as against Rs. 54.41 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, an increase of 3.44 per cent YoY.
Quess Corp is a business services provider which helps large and emerging companies to manage their non-core activities by leveraging its integrated service offerings across industries. In May 2019, Greenpiece Landscapes India Private Limited (GLIPL) became 100 per cent subsidiary of the company.
On Thursday, the stock of Quess Corp opened at Rs. 447 per share and made an intraday high and low of Rs. 457.90 and Rs. 442.50, respectively on the BSE. At 1:00 pm, the stock was trading at Rs. 449.45, down by 0.69 per cent.
