Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday
Vimta Labs, Kabra Extrusion Technik, Universus Photo Imagings, Texmo Pipes and Products, MBL Infrastructures and KDDL Limited made a fresh 52-week high today.
On Monday, frontline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex corrected by 1.65 per cent each, to close the session at 16,912.30 and 56,747.14 respectively. Nifty Bank ended the session at 35,735.90, down by 1.27 per cent. BSE Small-cap index fell by 383.36 points i.e. 1.35 per cent and closed the first trading session of the week at 28,038.53.

Indian Energy Exchange – The company was able to realize 9477 MU (Mega Unit) cleared volume on its platform during November 2021 comprising 6,333 MU in the conventional power market, 457 MU in the green power market and 2,687 MU in the certificate market comprising ESCerts and REC. Overall, the exchange realized 53.8 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth across all its market segments.
According to the power demand data published by the National Load Dispatch Center, the national peak demand at 166.19 GW (gigawatt) saw 3.2 per cent YoY growth during the month, while the energy consumption at 100.4 BU saw 2.1 per cent YoY growth.
Add-Shop E-Retail – The company has announced that it had opened eight new franchises in three states (i.e. Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka) during the previous month. They are seeing large numbers of opportunities in both states for their retail business.
The company would be leveraging on its robust distribution network spread across the country for its ayurvedic products and agriculture products. The company has a vast distribution network of more than 550 franchisees spread across India. In addition, the company is having a wide customer base, which offers a substantial base for marketing its products to them. Such a distribution network would be a major growth catalyst for the company.
