Q4FY17 Results: ITC Ltd

ITC Ltd reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 today. The standalone numbers indicated robust revenue growth.

The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 11125 crore, which represents a 14.03 per cent sequential increase and 20.47 per cent YoY increase.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 3628.54 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 32.62 per cent.

The company reported PAT of Rs 2669.4 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 12.13 per cent and a YoY increase of 0.86 per cent.

The company's stock opened for trading at Rs 302 on the BSE, rose by 1.9 per cent after the results were declared and was trading at Rs 305.3 intra-day.

ITC Ltd is an India-based FMCG company. ITC has a market presence in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agri-business, packaged foods and confectionery, IT, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
