Q4FY17 Results: Berger Paints India Limited

Berger Paints reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 on Tuesday.

The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 1112.9 crore, which represents a 5.3 per cent sequential decline and 8.2 per cent YoY increase.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 133.6 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 12 per cent.

The company reported PAT of Rs 105.5 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 3.3 per cent and a YoY increase of 14.7 per cent.

The board of directors has recommended dividend of Rs. 1.75 per share (Face Value: Re 1).

The stock opened at Rs 257.05 and closed at Rs 255.95, a loss of 0.43 per cent.

Berger Paints India Limited is engaged in the manufacture of paints and varnishes, enamels or lacquers. The Company offers products in categories, including interior wall coatings, exterior wall coatings, Berger metal and wood paints, protective coating, undercoats and construction chemicals.
