Power Grid Corporation of India hits record high

Hitting its record high on the bourses during Monday’s trade, ahead of its results on Tuesday, the Power Grid Corporation of India traded at a new 52-week high of Rs 223.55.
 
Power Grid Corporation of India was trading at Rs 222.50 per share, up by Rs 8.50 or 3.97% as of 1516 hours on Monday, on the BSE. The stock attracted a traded value of Rs 18,975.16 lakh and a traded volume of 86,73,170 shares on the NSE.
 
Power Grid Corporation of India is a transmission company engaged in the power transmission business with responsibility for planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of Inter-State Transmission System and operation of National and Regional Load Dispatch Centres.
