I have been a subscriber to Dalal Street Investment Journal for the past three years. After three years, I can say that I have knowledge about investing in the stock markets, and that is because of reading your magazine.

I can remember that you said in 2008 editorial that India Inc. is going to deliver and sometime last year, in your editorial, you had advised staying away from the markets if one is confused. Recently, about three months ago, you said that there is going to be a rally. All of this has come true.

These instances are enough for one to become a lifetime subscriber of your magazine. I feel that there are no higher words of praise for you.

I also enjoy going through the other articles in your magazine.

Results Report Card

The DSIJ quarterly results issue is something I eagerly look forward to reading. The presentation is really good and it is like a one-stop shop where one gets to read about the crux of the performance of India Inc. The ‘Change in Scenario’ section was particularly useful as it explained what has changed over a year.

MF Investments Simplified

I personally do not invest directly in equities and keep my investments restricted to mutual funds, bank fixed deposits and NSCs. In your latest issue, I came across a special report on how to manage risks in mutual funds. I will say that the story was really well written. For example, I was not aware of the term ‘Sortino Ratio’, which was explained in a very simple manner.

I hope to read more such reports in the future too.
