KPI Global bags order of 2.250 MW solar power plants

KPI Global announced after trading hours on Thursday that it has received orders for 2.250 solar power plants under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) from industrial customers.

The received orders included 1.125 MW from Saanika Industries Private Limited and another from Devika Fibres Private Limited (both in Surat) for 1.125 MW. The company had earlier received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Devika Fibres Private Limited for 0.900 KW and later, another LOI for 0.225 KW from Devika Fibres.

KPI Global Infrastructure is a solar power generating company focussed on providing solar power under the brand, Solarism. The company builds, owns, operates and maintains grid-connected solar power projects for Captive Power Producer (CPP) customers. The company has an installed capacity of 15 Megawatt (MW) at its Solarism plant. Its business operations can be classified into Independent Power Producer (IPP), CPP and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Services as well as sale of solar project land plots.

At 10:30 am on Friday, the stock is trading at Rs 29, down by 6.45 per cent or Rs 2 per share. The 52-week high is recorded at Rs 81.75 and the 52-week low is Rs 29 on BSE.
