The company’s repayment of debt in order to move ahead on its plans to become a debt-free entity in the ongoing financial year. As a part of its defined debt-reduction program, it has further repaid bank debts by Rs 7.30 crore, taking the total amount of bank debt reduced to Rs 71.8 crore and the overall bank-debt reduction to Rs 98.2 crore approx. from the peak level of about Rs 170 crore, till date.

On Monday, shares of the company surged by more than 2 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs 61.70.

Nifty Mid-cap and Nifty Small-cap opened higher, up by 0.41 per cent and 0.9 per cent respectively.

The venture will establish a manufacturing facility to produce gas meters. It will assemble and manufacture SKD and FM gas meters, and sell, distribute, and supply gas meters, HHU, and DCU. It will also assemble, manufacture, sell, distribute, and supply other meters, including water and utility meters.
