On Monday, the fears of a global economic slowdown coupled with a slew of major quarterly earnings gripped the sentiments in the domestic market.

Penny stocks tend to gain momentum as markets show trend reversal. While many market observers believe that the current up move is simply a technical bounce and not necessarily a trend reversal, several penny stocks have managed to outperform the markets in July.  

The shares of PVP Ventures are seen outperforming markets on July 25. Only buyers are seen at the counter thereby, leading to an impressive gain of approximately 29 per cent in just over a month. There was a buyer lock-in at PVP Ventures during Friday's trading session as well.  

The equity markets are rallying with BSE Sensex clocking gains of more than 5 per cent in July. Several stocks are seen making fresh all-time highs while a few registered 52-week highs.  

On Friday, the benchmark indices ended on a positive note for the sixth trading session as investors took optimistic clues that the foreign funds (FIIs) are back in action in the Indian stock markets. FIIs are seen to be net buyers on all the trading days of this week.
