I have recently started investing in the stock markets with my savings and have subscribed to your magazine since July. It has been a great learning experience.

This month will mark the 10 years of the great financial crisis that culminated in the fall of the 158-year old financial institution Lehman Brothers Holdings. Indian markets had not remained immune from the crisis and the frontline indices had then fallen by 55 per cent, whereas the broader indices fell by as much as 70% from their peaks in January 2008,

This is an open-ended equity scheme which seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in mid-cap companies, dominantly. The scheme currently invests around 75 per cent of its corpus in mid-cap companies.

I am impressed by your cover story on systematic investment plan. I should tell you it was an eye-opener. I liked the story and hope you will continue writing such stories.
