The Union budget is the vision statement of the Central Government for the next fiscal year. For the common man, the most coveted announcements relate to personal taxes. The common man sets his eyes on this section with hope of relaxation in tax slabs and increase in limits of  exemptions and deductions.

Asian Paints on Thursday reported a growth of 25 per cent in topline at Rs 8527.24 crore from Rs 6788.47 crore reported in the same quarter last year. But the company failed to translate it into the bottom line with a net profit of Rs 1,016.33 crore for the December quarter, a fall of 18 per cent from Rs 1,240.10 crore reported in the same quarter last year.

According to the company, 1,59,600 modules and 1,67,440 modules were used in Prayagraj and Banda projects, respectively. With the installed capacity, carbon emission is expected to be reduced by 1,77,037 lakh tons annually. 

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has already been signed between TPREL and Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, (UPPCL), Lucknow for these two projects.
