Following stocks are close to their 52-weeks low as at 13:02P.M. on August 16, 2019.

Mumbai-headquartered travel and leisure service provider, Cox & Kings made a stock exchange filing which informed that the company defaulted on its commercial paper.

Considering the total count of the reported companies as 2,077, we find that 1,771 companies have posted a negative return since April 1, 2019. During this period, BSE Sensex also posted a negative return of 4 per cent since April 1, 2019 (38871.87 point).

The markets on August 16, 2019 opened gap down. BSE Sensex is trading at 37,306.92, down by 4.61 points and the Nifty is trading at 11,037.35, up by 8.40 points. Meanwhile, the following stocks are close to their 52 weeks high as on August 16, 2019.

These 2,077 companies have posted an aggregate sales growth of 7 per cent during the quarter ended June 30, 2019. Aggregate operating profit growth of these companies stood at 5 per cent and aggregate PAT growth stood at 3 per cent.
