Nifty needs to sustain above its crucial 10,800 mark to keep the pullback option open. On the upside, the level of 10,980-11,040 is likely to act as immediate resistance. Stocks in news: Infosys, TCS, Anuh Pharma, Concor.

Going by the early indication of SGX Nifty, the markets may open the session on a flat note with a positive bias.

The following stocks would be in focus during Wednesday’s trading session in light of their results announcement: Ahluwalia Contracts, Deepak Fertilisers, Edelweiss Financial Services, Everready Industries and GMM Pfaudler.

The shares of the company closed at Rs 437.55, up by 3.71 per cent on back of robust financials.

Despite a spectacular run-up by Reliance, the benchmark index BSE Sensex closed down at 36,958.16, down by 623.75 points or 1.66 per cent on Tuesday. The Nifty50 closed at 10,925.85, down by 183.80 points or 1.65 per cent.
