NEA has selected the company for upgrading its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/ Energy Management System (SCADA/EMS) at its Load Dispatch Center (LDC) in Kathmandu, Siemens said in a regulatory filing.

Bajaj Corp posted 5.22 per cent YoY rise in PAT to Rs. 55.41 crore. The total income too came in at Rs. 222.46 crore as against Rs 206.86 crore in Q4FY17. Stock opened on a positive note, hit above previous high, but retreated and gave a sharp intraday fall after the results were announced.

Nifty Energy index traded marginally down with 0.4 per cent losses, dragged down by GAIL and Hindpetro. The index saw a horizontal trendline breakout at 14,480, however, it retreated and fell sharply in the first week of February. 

Sterlite Technologies surged as much as 4.9 per cent with 3.54 times spurt in volumes. Sterlite Technologies succeeded in giving a symmetric triangle pattern breakout at 327 levelsupported by volume spurt and 14-period RSI trendline breakout at 53.50 and quoting at 55.50.

TCS witnessed a record high and a record closure at 3,422 and 3,402 levels, respectively. The stock achieved its channel and flag pattern target and has entered overbought zone. Yet with continued momentum it may give some more upside of up to 100-150 points in near term.
