Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.51 per cent at 81,597 and the Nifty-50 up 0.52 per cent at 24,813. About 2,297 shares have advanced, 1,680 shares have declined and 138 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.90 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.51 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Endurance Technologies Ltd and Solar Industries India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Ecos (India) Mobility & Hospitality Ltd, Trident Ltd and Sindhu Trade Links Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Industrials Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Bankex Index were the Top Losers.

As of May 21, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 441 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion. On the same day, 76 stocks hit a 52-week high while 25 stocks touched a 52-week low.
