Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.17 per cent at 81,445 and the Nifty-50 down 0.17 per cent at 24,812. About 1,527 shares have advanced, 2,453 shares have declined and 135 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.34 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.34 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Vedant Fashions Ltd, Escorts Kubota Ltd and Bandhan Bank Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Electronics Mart India Ltd, Optiemus Infracom Ltd and Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Discretionary Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.

As of June 18, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 446 lakh crore or USD 5.17 trillion. On the same day, 75 stocks hit a 52-week high while 61 stocks touched a 52-week low.
