Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on March 07

The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.39 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.70 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.05 per cent at 74,119.39 and the Nifty-50 up 0.09 per cent at 22,493. About 2,114 shares have advanced, 1,691 have declined and 117 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 74,245.17 on March 07, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,525.20 on March 07, 2024.

The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.39 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.70 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Solar Industries India Ltd, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Tata Chemicals Ltd, Rallis India Ltd and Force Motors Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the Metals Index and BSE Capital Goods Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy were the only losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 393 lakh crore or USD 4.75 trillion as of March 07, 2024. On the same day, 180 stocks hit a 52-week high while 97 stocks touched a 52-week low.
