Stock of the Street: This civil construction company bags order worth Rs 3,079 crore!

On April 10, 2023, Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited informed in the exchange filing that Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) and its international subsidiaries have secured new orders of Rs 3,076 crore. The orders are secured in the month of March 23 and till date in April 23.
The first order is for civil works for a data centre and buildings in India of Rs 1,234 crore. The second order is for EPC order in the railway business of Rs 754 crore in India. The third order is for residential and institutional building project in Africa of Rs 233 crore. The fourth order is for the T&D business of the company worth Rs 150 crore in overseas markets.
Kalpataru Power Transmission is engaged in the business of power transmission and distribution, oil & gas pipeline, railways, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing and logistics business with a strong international presence in power transmission & distribution.
Today, the stock opened at Rs 532.45, with a high and low of Rs 544.85 and Rs 527.90. Currently, the stock trading at Rs 536.35 up by 3.38 per cent. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 591.10 and a 52-week low of Rs 332.30.
In the last 6 months, the shares of the company have given about 20 per cent returns and in last one year, the stock has given more than 35 per cent returns.
