IPO Analysis: Credit access Grameen ltd

The IPO of Creditaccess Gramin Limited opens for subscription from August 8 to August 10, 2018. This IPO consists of fresh equity issue worth Rs. 630 crore (1,49,28,910 shares) and offer for sale (OFS) of 1,18,76,485 shares by existing stakeholders. Post issue, promoter and promoter group’s holding will reduce to 80.3% and non-promoter shareholding will increase to 19.7% from 1.1%. The face value is Rs 10 per equity share. The minimum lot size is of 35 shares and the issue price band is Rs. 418-422 per equity share. Post allotment, the company will get listed on both BSE and NSE.

Nifty is likely to see a quiet opening on Wednesday and we expect the index to continue its sideways move and not witness any significant upmove. Markets likely to open flat despite positive global leads

The Indian markets are likely to open flat with a positive bias on Wednesday, despite positive leads from Wall Street. The muted trend in the SGX Nifty suggests that Nifty could open with little change at 11,429. Among Nifty 50 companies, BPCL, Cipla, HPCL and Lupin results are scheduled today.

Ujjivan reports stable numbers for Q1FY19

Ujjivan Financial Services reported net interest income of Rs. 222.4 crore in Q1FY19, an increase of 60.9 per cent over Q1FY18. The financial institution's total income was Rs. 461.7 crore in Q1FY19, an increase of 28.7 per cent over Q1FY18. While the net interest margin stood at 11.6 per cent in Q1FY19, an increase from 9.2 per cent in Q1FY18.

Muted opening likely despite positive leads from Asian peers

A muted start is in the offing for the Indian markets Indian markets as the SGX Nifty suggests that Nifty could open almost unchanged at 11,430. HUL acquires Adityaa Milk to expand frozen dessert footprint

Hindustan Unilever, the holder of Kwality Wall’s and Magnum brands, signed an agreement to acquire brand ‘Adityaa Milk’ to increase its penetration into Ice-Cream and Frozen Desserts business. The stock of HUL shed 1.7 per cent at 15:15 hours after witnessing Open-High at Rs. 1,764.95 per share in Monday’s trade.

Airtel announces strategic partnership with Telecom Egypt

Bharti Airtel has announced its strategic partnership with Telecom Egypt, Egypt’s first integrated telecom operator. Through this partnership, Airtel will get IRUs (Indefeasible Right of Use) on the Middle East North Africa Submarine Cable (MENA cable) and TE North Cable Systems. Additionally, it will also take large capacities on two new state-of-the-art cable systems (SMW5 and AAE1) on a long-term basis.

Great Eastern Shipping, the second largest shipping company by market capitalisation as recently signed a contract to purchase secondhand gas carrier. The carrier is very large of nearly 81,605 cbm and that the 2006 built vessel is likely to join GE Shipping’s fleet in the second quarter of FY19.
