The share price of Dishman Carbogen Amcis Limited plunged 12 per cent; a day after the Income Tax (IT) Department conducted a ‘search and survey operation’ at the company’s head office and maintenance sites. As a result, the company’s stock fell below its previous 52-week low of Rs 110, touched on October 25, 2019 and also, hit a new 52-week low of 102.50 at the BSE on Friday.

Upon reviewing the current liquidity and market scenario, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to conduct a simultaneous sale and purchase of bonds under its Open Market Operations (OMO) for Rs 10,000 crore each, using the multiple price auction method, to infuse durable liquidity.

The Committee of Creditors (CoC) of Jaypee Infratech approved the bid of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) to acquire assets of this debt-laden company under insolvency process. Post this move, the stocks of Jaypee jumped over 9 per cent on Wednesday.
