At the closing bell on July 26, the Sensex closed at 55,268.49 down by 0.9 per cent or 498 points, while the Nifty index closed at 16,483.85 down by 0.9 per cent or 147 points. On the contrary, Nifty Media closed stronger by 0.9 per cent at 1979.85. 

  Sun TV, PVR and Inox Leisure witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

Elecon Engineering Company Ltd (Elecon) witnessed a gain of 14.61 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 377.80.Net revenue grew by 11.4 per cent on a YoY basis at Rs 327.72 crore, while net profit jumped by 57.6 per cent YoY to Rs 42.52 crore.

As bulls remain in charge of the D- Street, at the closing bell on July 22, the Sensex closed at 56,072.23, up by 0.7 per cent or 390 points, while the Nifty index closed at 16,719.45, up 0.7 per cent or 114 points.  

  Balaji Amines, Atul Ltd and Fairchem Organics Ltd witnessed positive action in today’s session. 

These small-cap stocks lead the ‘A’ Group in yet another positive session on July 21. In the meanwhile, the benchmark indices namely Sensex is up by 0.2 per cent or  90 points at 55487.17 and Nifty trading at 16547.85 with a gain of 27 points or 0.2 per cent. 

The shares of National Oxygen are continuously hitting the upper circuit limit of 5 per cent in 6 consecutive sessions, taking the stock price gain to a mindboggling 73 per cent in the last one month.
