The shares of Cantabil Retail have significantly outpaced the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex which had increased by 2.37% in the last 1 year whereas S&P BSE Smallcap has risen by 6.62% in the same period. 

In a volatile trading session, the BSE Basic Material index ended on a positive note at 5,570.57.  

  At the closing bell on September 7, the Sensex closed at 59,028.91, down by 0.28 per cent or 168.08 points.  

  National Peroxide Ltd and Sanghi Industries Ltd witnessed positive action in today’s session.   

A mixed session on the D-Street witnessed positive momentum in Power, Utilities, Oil & Gas, while FMCG, Banking and IT stocks bore the brunt of the market participants. At the closing bell on September 6, the Sensex closed at 59,196.99, down by 0.1 per cent or 49 points.  

  JK Tyre and Apollo Tyres witnessed positive action in today’s session.   

Fermenta Biotech Ltd gained 20 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 247.55. The shares of the company hit intra-day highs and lows of Rs 247.55 and Rs 216, respectively.

A mixed day on D-Street closed with the frontline index the Sensex closing at 58,803 up by 0.1 per cent or 37 points, while the Nifty index closed flat at 17,539.45. In the broader market, capital goods stocks gained strength with S&P BSE Capital Goods up by 1.1 per cent or 368 points at 32,818.08. 

Elgi Equipments, V-Guard Industries and Timken India witnessed positive action in today’s session.
